Lost & Found

Went to Four Points to have our annual family new year dine out (buffet) but this year without daddy =(..  Reached there around 12 something in the afternoon with one of our cousins and family. The place was big, with a wide range of toothsome and scrumptious cuisines. From Western to Chinese to Indian then to Japanese. Without much thought, we set off directly from the first dish till the last. It was a self service trend - eat anything you like, and get as much as you can!
As my tummy felt happy after the food - it’s time for desserts! There’s a dessert corner with ice-creams, ais kacang ingredients (for you to choose), puddings and more. I wanted merely longan with ice BUT there was no more longans left. I had no choice but to ask the waiter to refill but waited like sooo long and I still didn’t see my longan. Tired of waiting, I went over to picked lychee instead. Happily went to the ice maker machine, but there was NO ice! Fine, so I had to kindly stop a waitress and asked for some ice. I blended some ice after she poured it in the machine then walked back to the table, wasn’t really enjoying the “lychee peng” in bowl cuz it wasn’t nice at all. I, obviously didn't know how to make.
Minutes passed. When we decided to go back I realized something. My phone was gone! First thing I did was got up and searched at one place in a distance – the dessert corner. When I was convinced that my phone wasn’t in sight, I pulled over and told my mum. Okay, so everyone started helping me search. I looked under the table, went around the place, and even wondered into a steel cylinder with water and ice-cream scooper. While my brother and uncle rotated calling my phone. But we didn’t hear any thing, it was still yet to be found.
As they kind of gave up searching and concluded that my phone has probably been stolen, we decided to leave the place. When we walked out to the counter and just keeping that one last hope, we asked if anyone saw my phone. Then a lady took out a black phone bag from the counter desk, “Is this that you are looking for?” Ahah! My phoneeeeee! Yes yes yess! She handed me my beloved precious phone and I quickly thanked her, feeling pleased. My mum asked where did she find it and to my guessing it was at the dessert corner, I was right. =)
When I realized my phone was gone I didn’t really get all anxious. I slightly prayed and consciously stayed steady. There, God answered. He chose to be with me though it was just something really small and nothing to Him. Thank You once again, Father. You’re the BEST! =D
My first Lost and Found in 2010!
