Perception VS Reality

If I were to choose

I hope to see the world in peace

To see reconciliation between men

To see the poor smiling in joy

To see the citizens unite as one

If I were to choose

I hope tribulation will never occur

No room for hatred left in hearts

No greed will ever take place

No anger to be lavished

I hope death has not a single value

Let the flowers bloom with hope and love

Let the clouds remain forever in its tranquility

Let the world colour you with its unfading beauty

If I were to choose, this is what I hope…

BUT…

I didn’t have a choice

The world is fighting for wealth and fame

Wars broke out in all directions against men

Peace, love, joy and hope could hardly be seen

Tell me why, these are happening?

The hearts once pure and kind

But now contaminated with abominations

Jealousy is occupied in your mind

Revenge seems so common to you

Tell me why have you changed?

The reality could not be erased

This is the world you’re living in

Cruelty rules over the nations

But take heart, this will end

Just ask yourself…

I don’t exactly know what friendship’s like

Some said it’s so brilliant and wonderful

As tough you own the whole world

Some said it’s all about worthless lies

Betrayal and deceitfulness fills

Whom shall I believe?

I never knew until you came

And proved me wrong

At first you were like a normal friend

Then slowly I began to fear

That I would lose you

Have I had this feeling before?

You’re just by my side

Yet it feels like we’re thousand miles apart

I want to keep this alive

For the very first time I felt so

But who knows what’d happen 20 years from now?

Could we still stay the same?

We’re living day by day

In anticipation and in fear

My friends, you never know what’s going to happen the next second. So don’t give up on any friendship so easily. It’s not the end. Just see how far you’ve walked each other through. The friendship you’ve built up doesn’t worth the moment you say goodbye. Think carefully before you make any decisions. Because no matter what the results will be, it’s certainly gonna cost you something.

Appreciation

Today is 09.09.09! What’s so special bout it? Cause’ of the triple 09s? Well no, actually everyday is to be appreciated, today goes the same too. We should bear in mind that every day is a new beginning, a fresh start, despite the trials we have to go through. Because time is like a river. You cannot touch the same water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass again. What more to say that today is such a nice date? Treasure every second, value everything or everyone in your life. They are precious gifts graciously given by God. Don’t regret over things you have failed to cherish cause you were once given the chance to appreciate, it’s just the matter whether you did or not. Enjoy every moment of life… 

This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

I think they made quite a lot. All with strange unique shapes (some even handicapped, I wonder why. Lol) and weird I mean creative names. And I got this, THE FIRST COOKIE MAN. Not really sure why they named it that. Maybe one of you shall story me someday aye? You guys are simply too imaginative! Hmm..

Look at the chocolate-y eyes. So tempting right?

Look at the printed letter A shirt. Aww.. “A” stands for Abby mar…

Look at the colorful, pocky-dotted underwear!!! (the highlight of all?)

Lol. It looks a lil’ like ninja here! Haha..

So I guess my conclusion is this,

COOKIE MAN + CHOCOLATE + COLORFUL + CREATIVE + CUTE = YUMMY!!!
